Nalia Update. 5-23-06
I'm very happy to join this group, here i think everybody will understand what i feel. think i
should introduce myself but don't
know what to say?
I'm 13, i'm a girl, i'm french. My dad is an english teacher, that's why i can speak a little
english. I like reading, sport and horses.
Well i'm here cause i still wet the bed. I wet every night and for nap too. When i was
younger, it wasn't really a problem but now, a teen
girl with a diaper is not easy to understand. My parents were ok about my wetting but now, i
think they think i'm too old for that (they are
funny, maybe they think it's a game for me.)
Moreover, since 11, i have day accidents sometimes, when i wait too long before going to
bathroom or feel stress. it's not every day but
often on some occasion like exams, going to movies or thing like that. It's not every day but
maybe one or twice a week
At night, i wear diapers. Always feel like a baby with it but no choice. I tried goodnites but
even in the day, it leak so.
My parents tell me to wear diaper when i could have problems but i don't wear it in the day,
especially outside. Moreover, it's difficult
to go to bathroom if u can with a diaper.
This is a part of my life (my secret life)
I'd like to have advices please

Mark Update 5-14-06
Hi Todd Jr, Mark here.
I had a bad night last night but woke up dry. I was worried that I might wet at
George's house. Bill has lots wrong with him so I just wanted him to know that he was
not alone when it comes to keeping his bed dry. When I told him about me he said, but you
look normal. I told bill that you don't have to break bones or be in an accident to
have this kind of problem. He didn't know. The movie RV, verry funny. Go see it. Your
dad would like it and your brothers will like it. Buy for now, off to church.

Mark 13yr update to the group 5-12-06
It must be at least 2 weeks the last time I posted. Sorry, I just don't have the time. I have
time today because it is raining, has been for the last 3 days. All the baseball games have
been cancelled. A few times when soccer and baseball got cancelled George and I ended
up at the hospital. I don't get it with Bill and the nurse. Every time I see Bill the first thing I
do is put a gown on him to cover his back side. I feel sorry for Bill. He says that he is getting
better but I don't see it. He can feed himself but someone has to cut his food for him.
Gramps told me that burns take a long time to heal. Thursday after school I brought him a
card to give to his mom this Sunday. He got tears and said he wished he could gohome and
have him mom take care of him. His Doc. said he had to stay a little longer. Then he asked
me about my mom and why did I live with my grand pa. So I told him, everything. Told him
about having to wear diapers to bed and everything. That's when he thanked me again for
into the gown to cover up is diaper. That was the first time he used the word diaper in front
of me. Bill did tell me that he could feel it when he had to go but by the time the nurse came
in to help it
was too late. Also, starting next week after his special morning bath his nurse told him that
they would not diaper him. They are going to give him a cup to pee in. If that works, no
more day diapers and Bill
is very happy about that. I hope it works for him, Bill needs a break. And so do I. Would
really like to get down to 1 or 2 bad nights a week. I woke up wet 7 times in the last 2 weeks.
George and I are going to see R V at 4pm. When it's over his mom or dad will pick us up
and I will be spending the night with them. I'm all packed up, even a ziplock bag if the atn
is wet. This will be my first time at George's. I will not see Bill this sunday, told him I would
see him after school on Monday if it rains. The weather man said the next
dry day will be Tuesday. If I get the chance I will post something here Monday night.
Your friend, Mark
Jessie 15yrs reflection on parenting
I just thought I would write to all the parents who are in this group. I know most of you have
said that you wonder what you can do to help your child or children with bedwetting or
incontinence, well I know the answer to that question.
You can love your children, simple as that. This group has made me think alot about how I
was raised and trouble I have had due to my bedwetting, and I realized that no matter what
happened anywhere I could go to my parents and sit on there lap and cry while they hugged
me and kissed me. Having that safe place in my life made me face all of life's challenges
with confidence and bravely, including my bed wetting. Knowing I could go home and be
loved made all the difference in the world to holding my head up high and being ashamed
about being a bed wetter. Please remember they are your children, it is your responsibility
to love them no matter what.
I know I have great parents and I know that I don't tell them nearly enough that they are
great and that I love them, and that I say, "Dad, don't be a total dweeb in front of my
friends" way to often, even if can be a total dweeb.
I am sorry that I rambled on so much but what I want to say to parents is if you love your
children and provide a loving enviroment at home for them it will make them ready to face
all challenges, including those related to blader control.
Thank you for listening
